Child Safety Standards

Last updated: June 21, 2026 · Google Play content rating: PEGI 18

MaskedTalk is an anonymous social chat app intended for adults. We do not permit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM) anywhere in MaskedTalk.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement now.

Do not download, save, forward, or redistribute suspected CSAM in order to report it.

Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

MaskedTalk prohibits content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, endangers, grooms, extorts, traffics, or otherwise harms children. This includes photos, videos, computer-generated imagery, messages, profile content, stories, calls, game chat, or any other activity involving CSAM or CSAE.

Adult-only positioning and age enforcement

The Google Play listing is rated PEGI 18. MaskedTalk also applies service eligibility requirements, account controls, moderation signals, and enforcement intended to prevent ineligible users from using the service. Accounts identified as underage or otherwise ineligible may be suspended or removed.

In-app reporting and blocking

Users can report safety concerns from messages, profiles, and stories and can block accounts immediately. Reports may result in content removal, account restrictions, suspension, permanent termination, or evidence preservation for safety and legal review.

Moderation and enforcement

  • We use automated and manual moderation processes to review reports and detect policy violations.
  • When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM in MaskedTalk, we remove or disable access to the material as appropriate.
  • Accounts involved in CSAE or CSAM may be immediately suspended, banned, or deleted.
  • We preserve relevant safety evidence where needed to investigate abuse, protect users, prevent repeat harm, or comply with lawful requests.

Legal compliance and authority reporting

MaskedTalk complies with applicable child safety laws. When required or appropriate under applicable law, we report apparent CSAM or credible child safety threats to relevant regional or national authorities and cooperate with valid legal requests.

External reporting resources

These resources are operated independently of MaskedTalk:

  • United States: report suspected online child exploitation to the NCMEC CyberTipline.
  • United Kingdom and applicable online imagery reports: use the Internet Watch Foundation reporting portal.
  • For other locations, contact local law enforcement or the relevant national child-protection hotline.
