Welcome to MaskedTalk. By using our application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using MaskedTalk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be 17 years of age or older to use MaskedTalk. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users.
- Post or share hate speech, discriminatory content, or slurs.
- Share illegal content, including but not limited to child exploitation material, illegal drugs, or weapons.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Spam, solicit, or send unsolicited commercial messages.
- Attempt to circumvent content moderation or safety features.
- Share another user's real identity without their explicit consent.
4. Content Moderation
Text and image content shared on MaskedTalk is automatically moderated using AI-powered tools. Content that violates our guidelines may be automatically removed. Repeated violations may result in account warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination.
5. Anonymous Identity
MaskedTalk assigns anonymous identities to users in each conversation. Revealing another user's real identity without their consent is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.
Your profile may remain anonymous to other users, but MaskedTalk may record objective safety evidence such as IP address, device and app metadata, and account events. This data is not shown to other users and may be used to protect the service, investigate abuse, or respond to a valid legal request.
6. In-App Purchases
MaskedTalk offers optional in-app purchases (MaskedTalk Plus, story boosts, super messages). All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not process payments directly.
7. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. You may also delete your account at any time through Settings > Account > Delete Account.
8. Intellectual Property
The MaskedTalk app, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of MaskedTalk. You retain ownership of the content you create and share, but grant us a limited license to display and transmit it within the app.
9. Limitation of Liability
MaskedTalk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkiye. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Turkiye.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of MaskedTalk after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes through the app.
