Common Issues
Cannot send messages
- Check your internet connection.
- Try restarting the app by force-closing and reopening it.
- Ensure you have the latest version of MaskedTalk installed.
Profile not updating
- Force close the app and reopen it.
- Check your internet connection.
- If the issue persists, try logging out and back in.
Story upload issues
- Images must be under 10 MB.
- Videos must be under 50 MB.
- Ensure you have granted MaskedTalk access to your photo library.
Game connection issues
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
- Try restarting the app.
- If matchmaking is slow, try again during peak hours.
Report Abuse
You can report inappropriate content or users directly within the app by tapping the report button on any message, profile, or story. Our moderation team reviews all reports.

Account Deletion
To request deletion of your MaskedTalk account, open the app and go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. You can also email support@maskedtalk.live from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it.
Account deletion removes your profile, account identifiers, photos, videos, stories, messages, purchase entitlement records, and other account-linked app data from active systems after the deletion process is complete.
Some records may be retained only where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, financial reporting, or valid legal requests. Examples include objective safety evidence such as IP address, device and app metadata, account-event logs, and purchase receipts. These retained records are not shown to other users and are kept only for the period required by the applicable purpose or law.
Data Export
You can export your personal data at any time through Settings > Account > Export Data. Your data will be provided in a standard format per GDPR requirements.
